From Insight to Action: Applying AI Research in Humanitarian Practice

By early 2026, the UK Humanitarian Innovation Hub (UKHIH) and NetHope with support from the Technical University of Munich will have completed a major scoping research study exploring how a sector-wide AI Lighthouse could meaningfully support responsible innovation and ethical AI adoption across humanitarian contexts. This session will move beyond presenting research findings: it will focus on translating these findings into practical action for organizations, networks and coordination bodies.
